I turned FORTY this year-yikes! Where did the time go? Anyway, Joel surprised me with a bowling party! He did a great job getting it all together, me there on a weeknight AND across town with help from niece, Tammie. Thanks to all for helping me celebrate!
Sneaky family and friends with the organizer-Joel!

Me talking with sister-in-law, Christy. Friend from Bridgeport, Melissa came with son, John. There is Colt with John and Sandra Fuller (sitting).

Jack turns THREE at a summer pool party. Saginaw just opened the pool this summer.

Love that icing!

Summer vacation was spent in Port Aransas at the Port Royal Resort. They have a fabulous pool area which we didn't get a picture, but greatly enjoyed. They have 3 HUGE pools, 5 hot-tubs, and water slide. Then there was a short boardwalk to the beach!

The beach and water was great fun! Daddy and the boys took turns getting buried in the sand. Castles were made and crushed, seashells collected, etc.

Must feed seagulls anytime close to beach.

Souvenir shop display. You could walk all the way through to the door. Jack at first is concerned and then we can't get him out!

This aquarium is a must see when close to Corpus Christi. We enjoyed looking at all the fish but they also had a bird show, dolphins, and beavers.

Toby is part of the school of fish.

Jack is a little concerned about standing so close to sharks.

We visited the aircraft carrier now museum: USS Lexington. The boys had fun climbing all the ladders and running around on the flight deck. They also sat gunner's chairs and tried to stear.

Toby is sitting inside that jet while Jack is standing on the wing navigating! Vacation makes us all tired.

Spent the night at Cooper's Lake in East Texas with our neighbors. Slept in the tent in the background. Went fishing but didn't catch any fish. Roasted hotdogs and made smores!
